Booking & Timing

We recommend booking 7-14 days in advance to ensure availability and optimal routing. However, we can often accommodate last-minute requests depending on our carrier availability and your route.

For seasonal moves (winter snowbird season, auction transport, etc.), booking 3-4 weeks in advance is recommended as these are peak times with higher demand.

Transit time depends on distance and route:

  • Short distance (under 500 miles): 1-3 days
  • Medium distance (500-1500 miles): 3-5 days
  • Cross-country (over 1500 miles): 5-10 days

These are estimated timeframes. We provide detailed pickup and delivery windows when booking, and expedited service is available for time-sensitive shipments.

We work within pickup and delivery windows rather than exact dates, as carrier scheduling depends on route optimization and other shipments. Typical windows are:

  • Pickup window: 1-3 days from your requested date
  • Delivery window: Based on transit time plus 1-2 days flexibility

Guaranteed pickup/delivery dates are available for an additional fee. We'll confirm specific dates 24-48 hours before pickup and delivery.

We understand plans change. Our cancellation and rescheduling policy is:

  • Before carrier dispatch: Full refund of deposit minus processing fee
  • After carrier dispatch: Cancellation fees may apply
  • Rescheduling: Generally no fee if done at least 48 hours before pickup

Payment & Process

Payment is typically split into two parts:

  • Deposit: A deposit (usually $100-300) is required to book and secure your transport
  • Balance: The remaining balance is due to the carrier upon delivery, typically paid directly to the driver

We accept major credit cards, wire transfers, and certified checks. For high-value vehicles, special payment arrangements can be made.

At Pickup:

  • Driver performs detailed vehicle inspection with you present
  • Both parties sign Bill of Lading documenting vehicle condition
  • You receive copies of all documentation
  • Vehicle is carefully loaded using soft tie-downs
  • You receive GPS tracking information

At Delivery:

  • Driver contacts you 24 hours before arrival
  • Vehicle is carefully unloaded
  • Joint inspection to verify condition
  • You sign delivery confirmation
  • Final payment is collected

Yes, you or a designated representative must be present for both pickup and delivery to:

  • Sign the Bill of Lading and condition report
  • Provide/receive vehicle keys
  • Inspect the vehicle before and after transport
  • Make final payment upon delivery

If you cannot be present, you can authorize a representative. They must be at least 18 years old and have valid identification.
